Paul's birthday dinner. Had dinner at Melbourne Hotel... after the ice cream at dorcas house. some played pool while others watched Mulan... totally forgot to embarrass Paul that day.

A GREAT holiday with 2 great gal friends and a great guy friend!!! Thank you Wei yi for ur hospitality, ur time and everything.... Thank you carmen for being such a great joy and my companion during this trip. thank you sean for ur humour. I got to know both of carmen and wei yi better during this trip and i'm sooooo blessed that i can call both of u great friends, not to forget sean too.

finally we finished it all up.... carmen still wanted to eat more.... savoury food though.

had haagen daz chocolate delight for dinner... yummmmmm. carmen was so worried we couldn't finish it and wasn't so keen on having it but i had to try this.
After church carmen and myself went to orchard for shopping.. yeah!!! regardless of rain or hail or snow.. nothing got in our way while we shopped around sharing one umbrella among the 2 of us. we went to far east which was my fav place but carmen didn't like it coz it wasn't a 'comfortable' place to shop- crowded. then we went to Ck tangs and Taka for awhile but the shops were too expensive. after walking in the rain we found Heeren. at 9pm.. we went back to city hall which is Carmen's favourite shopping place... shopped at raffles city where carmen got some stuff and i got a coat at city hall. :) reached wei yi's house at 11pm. what a long day but a great day of shopping. Sunday... church day.... carmen, me and sean went to new creation church at suntex city. the service started at 11.15am and we reach there at 10am and guess wat? people were lining up to get the best seats for the 11.15am service.. talk about kiasu.... carmen was waiting in the line for 20 minutes... can u spot her in the picture? after 20 minutes me and sean asked carmen to get out of the line and we waited in the visitor'ssection which was a shorter line. i was so moody coz i don't believe in lining up for church. old ppl and pregnant lady also needed to line up. worship was good.... pastor was alrite... seats were comfortable.

After the bird park we went to Wei yi's parents shop to eat... wow..... such good food... we had pan mee, oyster egg and singaporean hokkien mee.... we ate sooo much till i was '3 months pregnant.' Can u see my stomach in the picture. After lunch we met up with Sean at Little India. Carmen bought what she was looking for. after that me and carmen went back to Wei yi's house for dinner that her grandmother cooked and slept while Wei yi went for bible study.
Saturday we spent at the bird park early morning... the walk was a breeze coz... of me... my whining... hehe..... after the zoo and the bird park... we all came to realise that carmen and chi yenn should go on holiday together as they like nature and animals while me and wei yi love to shop. :)

after walking like for hours to me coz my legs were like 'falling off'' we couldn't find clarke quay so decided to go on our separate way. on the mrt wei yi saw the clarke quay stop so we jumped out of the train and walked on our journey again to find MOS.. just carmen, me and wei yi... and finally we found it. like some dungu tourist asking around for directions.and taking photos.. embarrassing.. didn't enter coz drizzling and line was as long as the great wall of china. sean and me at the esplanade... after that we walked around looking for clarke quay where MOS was. by that time carmen and I were exchanging shoes coz our feet were killlllllling us.... we didn't find clarke quay but instead found boat quay and had dinner there... we were on a budget so finally we found a thai shop that gave us 20% off... i enjoyed the dinner but some didn't coz apparently the i think bos of the restaurant was talking behind our backs bout us... maybe bout us being so kiam siap (stingy) coz student on a budgent.. but i was facing at the back of her thus enjoyed my dinner while others didn't.

after lunch we slept for awhile coz was so tired after all the walking in the zoo.... after our slept we dressed up and for the night. wore our 'killer, vain' shoes coz Sean wanted to go to MOS. We met shermaine at the esplanade. blame sean for our misery! after the zoo went back to wei yi's house and lunch was already prepared by her grandma....never eaten so mucha prawns.... good food.. everyday had soup, fish, prawn, chicken and vegies... such good food... wei yi.. can i adopt ur grandma.. she's so cute... the last day me and carmen wanted to take a picture with her.. but she rain away....

the penguins... so cute.... and so obedient.. it was feeding time and when feeding time was over.. the guy said to the penguin.. 'okie go home time.. go go... go home' The penguins were sooooo adorable and obedient.. they walked back home.

my favourite animal at the zoo... soooooo cute.... carmen and wei yi were scared when we approached the bears coz there was no cage and it was so opened.they thought the bears would jump out and eat them up... hilarious.....hahaha....

The next day we went to the Zoo.... slept late and woke up early.... we were zombies... but had a great time at the zoo... was an open concept zoo.... so no cage only some places got cages like the reptiles and insect area.
once me, carmen, sean and paul arrived we went on our separate way... sean and paul went to their aunt's house while carmen and me went with wei yi.... first things first.. FOOD glorious FOOD....top left is char kuey teow.. so much different from kl style coz singapore its black in colour but kl its white... top right is satay noodle that was yummy... in the middle was lo bak ko aka cha tow kuey... bottow left is chendol and bottom right is my yummy sea coconut with nata de coco.. scrumptious. After our makan we went to bugis shopping.. lots of bargaining... i loved shopping there.. as for carmen... she likes her comfort but seeks cheap stuff... after bugis we went to chinatown... bought more stuff there.... as i was shopping. carmen was shopping with her eyes.. looking at singaporean guys and found one at Mc Ds. she was in dreamland after that....

Christmas in Bangkok was SOOO funn..... lots of shopping and sightseeing.... not much sighseeing... mainly the temple which we didn't like... the snake farm which at night i had a night mare and this floating market which was one... so this picture is at the floating market... was fun... didn't buy anything but bought food... love thai food... i enjoyed bangkok but it seems dad didn't like bangkok coz he didn't like the shopping there and the sight seeing we did in bangkok wasn't his cup of tea. mother wanted to watch the aqua show.. but i rather go shop then see the aqua 'gal' dance.
